Similar to the traditional fantasy sports model, the goal in SleeperPICKS is to draft a team of players based on your statistical predictions of performance. In SleeperPICKS, however, you begin drafting your team by selecting two to eight statistical player projections, comprised of at least two players from multiple teams. You must then predict whether each selected player will gain more or less than various projected performance metrics in the game.
All SleeperPICKS contests have predetermined payout multiplier(s) of your entry fee based on the total number of statistical player predictions made, as outlined by the tiers below. Your payout multiplier(s) will increase based on the number of total predictions you make. Note that all payouts for winning contests include your contest entry fee.
There are two types of contests in SleeperPICKS: All-In and Classic. After drafting your team, you must select between the All-In and Classic options, which have different payout structures and multipliers. For All-In contests, you must get ALL of your statistical player predictions correct in order to win a larger payout. For Classic contests, you may receive lesser payouts for getting SOME of your statistical player predictions correct.
The table below outlines the different scenarios for both contest types in which a user will receive a payout:
Number of Predictions | All-In Payout | Classic Payout |
2 | 3x (2/2 correct) | 0.5x or 2x (1/2 or 2/2 correct) |
3 | 6x (3/3 correct) | 1x or 3x (2/3 or 3/3 correct) |
4 | 10x (4/4 correct) | 1.5x or 5x (3/4 or 4/4 correct) |
5 | 20x (5/5 correct) | 2x or 10x (4/5 or 5/5 correct) |
6 | 35x (6/6 correct) | 2.5x or 20x (5/6 or 6/6 correct) |
7 | 50x (7/7 correct) | 3x or 30x (6/7 or 7/7 correct) |
8 | 100x (8/8 correct) | 4x or 60x (7/8 or 8/8 correct) |
