When is my trade deadline?

When can we accept trades until?

Written by Sleeper HQ

Your league’s trade deadline is tied to the final game of the selected NFL week.

  • Trading remains open through all games that week

  • Once the last game ends, trading is closed

Example:

If your deadline is set to Week 10, managers can trade throughout all Week 10 games. Trading closes as soon as the final game finishes.

After the Deadline

  • Managers can no longer propose or accept trades

  • Any trades accepted before the deadline will still process, even if there’s a review period

Commissioner Controls

Commissioners can manage the trade deadline at any time in the league’s General Settings:

  • Change the deadline week

  • Turn the trade deadline off entirely

When Does Trading Reopen?

In keeper and dynasty leagues, trading reopens once the league has transitioned to the new season.

  • The commissioner must renew or transition the league

  • Once completed, trades and other transactions become available again
