Game Modes
Pick your mode before you start:
🏆 2026 WC — This summer's qualified nations. Chase a perfect 8-0 run through the World Cup.
🐐 Legends — Past World Cup squads, giants and minnows, 1966–2022.
⚽ Clubs — 25/26 club squads. Win the Champions League — a perfect run here is a 38-0 season (a full club campaign), not 8-0.
The core gameplay is the same across all three; only the player pool and the length of a perfect run change.
How to Play
1. Roll a formation
You start by rolling a formation, which sets the 11 position slots you need to fill.
2. Roll a nation (or club) and draft
Tap roll to get a random qualified nation (or club, depending on mode). Draft one player from whatever you roll into an open slot at their position. Repeat until all 11 slots are filled.
3. Re-rolls
You get two re-rolls for the whole game — spend them wisely.
4. Submit
Once your XI is full, submit to see your Squad Score, your projected run, and how far you go.
Scoring
Squad Score
Your headline number. It's the sum of your eleven players' ratings, plus:
a small weakest-link bonus (a balanced XI beats one carried by a couple of stars), plus
your Chemistry bonus.
Chemistry +
A reward for a connected XI:
+12 for each extra player from the same country
+8 for every pair of club teammates (up to +32)
an age cohesion bonus (up to +24) — the more of your XI clustered around the same age, the bigger the bonus
a hidden 👬 brothers super boost (+40) for landing a real-life pair of brothers from the 2026 World Cup
Rolls are random, so stacking chemistry is its own fun chase.
The run — winning the Cup
Your XI plays 8 games (3 group + 5 knockout: R32, R16, QF, SF, Final). How far you go depends on overall quality and your weakest starter — one weak link caps your ceiling. A perfect run is 8-0 = Champions. (In Clubs mode, a full perfect campaign is 38-0.)
Attack & Defense
ATK is driven by your forwards and midfielders.
DEF is driven by your defenders and keeper.
Proj GF / GA estimate goals scored and allowed across the run — tune your XI for firepower or a clean sheet.
