What is an ez Pick?

How ez Pick works on Sleeper Player Picks

Written by Sleeper HQ

An ez Pick supports Player Picks entries when a slip starts with

one selected player or multiple selected players from only one team, subject to the entry-validation rules described below.

How an ez Pick works

  • ez Pick is a 1.0x multiplier, so it doesn't change your payout.

  • It always grades as a win.

    • Even if that player sits out or the game gets canceled, our Injury Insurance grades it in your favor. An ez Pick will never cause you to lose an entry.

When an ez Pick Appears

An ez Pick is automatically included when an entry has not yet satisfied Player Pick contest-entry requirements.

  • If a user selects just one player, an ez Pick may be automatically included from the opposing team in that game.

  • If a user selects multiple players from only one team, an ez Pick may be automatically included from the opposing side.

If a user individually selects a DFS-eligible combination (2+ players from 2+ teams), the ez Pick is removed from the entry automatically. No additional action is required for ez Pick functionality.

Rules and Restrictions

  • Alt Picks

    • You can use alternate projections on an entry with an ez Pick.

  • Promotions

    • Most promotions work with ez Picks. When supported, an ez Pick may

      be present for contest-entry validation.

      • Picks on Sale, Free Picks, Multiplier Boosts, Protected Picks, and Profit Boosts are all supported.

    • ez Picks don't count toward any "minimum picks" promo requirements. Only your non-ez Picks count.

      • Ex. for a Profit Boost with a 3+ pick min., you will need to put in 3 player picks.

  • Entry limits

    • Entry limits may vary by user, and by sport.

    • Minimum entry multiplier of 1.25X required to submit a lineup using an ez Pick.

  • Playthrough Rules

    • Playthrough balance requirements apply on ez Picks contests at a reduced rate

      • Ex. You have $100 in playthrough credits and you play a $100 ez Pick:

        • If your pick wins and pays out $200 → you'd have $150 withdrawable cash and $50 still in playthrough credits to keep playing.

        • If your pick loses → your playthrough is used up, same as any other entry.
