In Sleeper Player Picks, there are two different contest payout structures you can choose from when submitting an entry: Max and Flex.

Before entering a contest, you’ll select your preferred payout type on the contest submission screen.

Max vs. Flex Contests

Max Contests

Max contests require every pick in your entry to be correct in order to win. These contests offer the highest payout multiplier, but there is no payout unless all selections hit.

Flex Contests

Flex contests provide more ways to win, even if not all of your picks are correct. In exchange, the payout multiplier for a perfect entry is lower than in Max contests.

With Flex contests:

  • You can receive a payout with one incorrect player pick

  • You may also receive a payout with two incorrect player picks (only available for contests with five or more picks)

Flex Contest Requirements

  • Flex payouts are only available for contests with three or more picks

  • The contest must have a minimum Flex payout multiplier of 1.25x

Voided Picks & Flex Contests

If one or more picks in a Flex contest are voided, the contest will be graded using adjusted Flex payouts, as if the voided pick(s) were never included.

  • If voided picks reduce the entry to two remaining picks, the contest will be treated as a 2-pick Max contest

  • If voided picks cause the entry to include players from only one team, the entire entry will be canceled and refunded, in accordance with Sleeper Picks rules

Additional Rules

All Sleeper Player Picks entries must include at least one player from multiple teams. This rule applies to both Max and Flex contests.

For more details on how voided picks are handled, please refer to our Sleeper Player Picks Rules article.
