Missed kickoff or forgot to enter a contest before the game started? No worries — Sleeper Player Picks offers in-game contests for select NFL, NBA, and MLB games.

How In-Game Contests Work

In-game contests follow the same core rules and requirements as pre-game contests:

  • Select players from two or more teams

  • Predict whether each player will finish the game with more or less than their listed statistical projection

All in-game picks are graded using the player’s full-game statistics, including any stats accumulated before and afteryour contest entry is submitted.

Grading & Voids

In-game picks are never automatically voided or ruled a DNP. This means:

  • Picks are graded as normal regardless of:

    • Playing time

    • Substitutions

    • Injuries

    • Any other in-game circumstances

Once submitted, your picks will always receive a final result.

Mixing In-Game and Pre-Game Picks

You can combine in-game and pre-game predictions within the same contest entry, as long as all other contest requirements are met.

Additional In-Game Stat Rules

Quarter Markets

  • Resulted based on the score for the selected quarter

  • Overtime does not count

Second Half Markets

  • Resulted based on the score for the second half

  • Overtime is included
