Sleeper has certain rules in place on when and how users can deposit and withdraw funds from their Sleeper Wallet. Sleeper expressly prohibits any individual from having more than ONE (1) Sleeper Wallet.

Please note that Sleeper's real-money games are only available to play in select regions of the U.S. and Canada. For details, refer to our help center article: Where Can I Play?

Deposit Rules & Restrictions (United States)

A user must successfully complete an identity verification check and be located in the U.S. or Canada to deposit.

  • Deposits must be made from a U.S. bank account, VISA card, Discover card, Venmo account, or PayPal account held in the name of the verified user.

  • A user may not deposit more than $1,000 in a 24-hour period. Users located in Massachusetts may not deposit more than $1,000 in a calendar month, users located in Maryland may not deposit more than $5,000 in a calendar month.

  • A user may not deposit while their wallet balance is greater than $10,000.

Please note that failed or declined charges may temporarily appear as pending transactions with your financial institution, but will not ultimately post to the account. The time required for the transaction to clear ranges from 1 - 3 business days depending on the account provider and type of transaction.

Withdrawal Rules & Restrictions (United States)

A user must provide an email address and verified social security number in order to withdraw funds from their Sleeper Wallet. A user must be located in the U.S. or Canada to withdraw. Successful withdrawals may take five or more business days to process.

  • Funds from deposits made using a promotional code (for example, a first-time deposit match) have a playthrough restriction applied, meaning both the deposited amount and related promotional credit received must be used to enter completed contests before it may be withdrawn. Note that this restriction applies to all promotional credit, regardless of source.

  • Winnings from contests entered with promotional credit related to a deposit cannot be withdrawn until the deposited funds clear.

  • Winnings from a contest entered with a combination of cleared and uncleared funds cannot be withdrawn until all funds clear.

  • Withdrawals must be made to a saved payment method held in the name of the verified user.

  • Sleeper requires a $1 temporary deposit in order to verify any bank accounts added to a user's Sleeper Wallet. Therefore, users will not able to withdraw to a bank account with a $0 balance.

  • A user cannot withdraw more than $1,000 in a given transaction.

  • A user cannot withdraw more than $5,000 in a 24-hour period.

Sleeper reserves the right to suspend withdrawals in the instance suspicious activity is detected in a user’s account.

Canada Rules & Restrictions

There are certain rules and restrictions applied specifically to Canadian users:

  • Social security number requirements do not apply to Canadian users. As such, these users must go through document verification where they will be asked to provide a driver's license or passport.

  • Deposits made by Canadian users must be made by VISA Card or bank account (through Interac) held in the name of the verified user.

  • Withdrawals made by Canadian users must be made to a bank account (through Interac) held in the name of the verified users.

  • Canadian users are subject to the United States limits as outlined above, with limits applied in CAD rather than USD.

  • Canadian users will be required to provide both an email and a phone number in order to deposit or withdraw.

Note that users will always transact in the currency (USD or CAD) based on the address they used to verify their identity.
