Stat Corrections

When is a matchup considered final?

Oh, man. Stat corrections. If you're looking at this, it means that you need a prayer. You're either up by a little or down by a little. Maybe you're losing because of a 1-yard difference or an assisted tackle. Or maybe you're just wondering why the score changed in a matchup.

Here's how the Sleeper platform works. Our data provider will update stats throughout live games and then run any stat corrections as needed over the next couple of days.

Corrections can occur up to and including Thursdays, although most are likely to happen by Monday and Tuesday. Keep in mind that your weekly report does not imply that your matchup is final and corrections can occur after that is posted.

While the NFL has a public stat correction list that they update each week, the corrections that you see on Sleeper are not necessarily those same ones. Occasionally, our data provider may pause or temporarily miss something. In that case, they will make their own corrections to accurately match the official NFL stats.

Viewing Stat Corrections

You can go to your desired league, tap on the league tab, and then tap on the settings icon in the top right.

From there, scroll down and select the tile labeled "Stat Corrections". It will bring you to a screen that looks like this:

We only display stat corrections specific to the starters in your league. You can toggle from week to week to view the changes.
