What are Sleeper Team Picks?
Sleeper Team Picks are a CFTC and NFA-regulated trading product available on the Sleeper mobile app.
With Sleeper Team Picks, you can buy and sell contracts on the outcome of future sports events. These markets are offered by Kalshi, with market access provided by Sleeper Markets LLC.
Contract prices reflect what other people think event outcomes will be. Each contract for a correct prediction is worth $1.
How does it work?
Go to the Team Picks tab on the Sleeper app.
Step 1: Market Selection
A market represents a specific game or event being tracked, such as SF vs. LA.
Step 2: Side Selection
Each market includes two possible outcomes, and participants may choose one side.
The percentages shown indicate how other participants have selected so far.
Lower percentages reflect fewer selections for that side.
Higher percentages reflect more selections for that side.
Potential payout is based on the market price at the time of selection and the number of contracts associated with the entry.
Step 3: Amount Entry
An amount is assigned to the selection to determine the size of the position.
If the market shifts favorably, the position value may increase.
If the market shifts unfavorably, the position value may decrease.
Step 4: Live Market Movement
Market prices may change throughout the game in response to key in-game moments such as touchdowns, buzzer beaters, or other major plays. These shifts reflect activity from other participants adjusting their positions.
During the game, positions can generally be managed in several ways:
Trading: Contracts may be bought or sold at the current market value
Closing: Positions may be exited early to reflect the current market value
Holding: Positions may remain open until the game concludes
Step 5: Total Balance Overview
Total Balance reflects available cash funds and the value of active and completed entries. It provides a summary of current positions and past outcomes.
