The dual-position phenomenon has officially arrived in Jacksonville, and we’ve received several questions about how our platform will handle Travis Hunter's unique role.

Position Designation

To reflect his contributions on both sides of the ball, Travis Hunter has been assigned both Wide Receiver (WR) and Defensive Back (DB) designations.

We will continue to monitor his usage throughout the season, and while it is possible that one of these designations could be removed in the future, both the WR and DB tags will remain active throughout the entire 2025–2026 season.

Scoring in Non-IDP Leagues

By default, in traditional non-IDP (Individual Defensive Player) leagues, Hunter will only earn fantasy points based on his offensive statistics. However, commissioners can customize scoring rules to incorporate defensive statistics, even if the league does not officially roster defensive players.

For example, if you would like Hunter (or any player) to earn points for a defensive touchdown, you may assign a value (e.g., “6”) to the IDP TD category in your league’s scoring settings.

Please note: this scoring change would apply universally to all players, not exclusively to Travis Hunter.

Ultimately, it is up to each league’s commissioner to determine how Hunter’s scoring is handled.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I change these settings during the season?

Yes. Commissioners can update scoring settings at any time. If retroactive application is needed, a commish tool is available. Navigate to “Edit Matchup Scores,” then select “Recalculate all matchup records for Week XX” to apply changes to previous matchups.

Can my commissioner adjust Hunter's positional tags?

No. Player position designations are set platform-wide and cannot be edited by commissioners.
